Section Leader required to join a successful Food manufacturing business.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager the Section Manager will be responsible for a team of production operatives and supervisors.
Your main responsibilities will be managing Health & Safety and to pro actively ensure that the working environment is meeting current standards. Ensure Quality Standards for food safety, hygiene and GMP are being met.
Managing performance of your team through the use of appraisals.
You will also be required to train and develop all levels of your team.
Managing the NPD process and performance improvements within production by setting KPI's to measure efficiency and improvements.
The role will also involve resource management , planning organising and measuring labour and material requirements to ensure targets are met.
The Section Leader will be involved with communication between departments recruitment and employee relations.
The salary for this role is £26-28K working a 4 on 4 off days shift pattern. The site is commutable from Kings Lynn, Peterborough, Leicester, Nottingham, Kings Lynn.
