Engineering Team Leader - £ 28,000 - £ 32,000 - Hampshire
A large Food manufacturing organisation based in Hampshire are looking for an experienced Multi skilled Electrical Bias Multi skilled Maintenance Engineering Team Leader to supervise their maintenance team.
The core function of the Engineering Team Leaders role will be to monitor daily work including fault diagnosis, conducting repairs and carrying out preventative maintenance activity. You will ensure the area is operating to standards set by the Maintenance Manager. Work with management to tie down causes of downtime and suggest process improvements.
You will be driving continuous improvements ideas focusing on reducing downtime and waste. Working with production, and leading a small team of engineers.The successful Engineering Team Leader will be experienced in both mechanical and electrical engineering, with a control bias being essential - experience working within the food industry is essential.
The ideal candidate must be educated to HND, City & Guilds or Level 3 in Mechanical and Electrical engineering with a good knowledge of PLC control systems.
