message Job Title: CNC Setter Operators (Permanent) Location: Sheffield Salary: £19000 - £22000 per annum CNC Setter Operators. Several vacancies I am looking to speak with any experienced CNC Setter Operators who are looking for a new role. You will ideally have turning or milling experience, although any CNC experience will be considered This is a salaried role and will pay £21,850 including shift allowance (or £11.20 per hour). Overtime may be available but is not guaranteed The working hours are a 4 day week working Monday to Thursday and will involve a week of days (6 am till 4 pm) followed by a week of afternoons / evenings (4 pm to 2 am) The role will involve working on special products in a very clean, modern manufacturing facility. • Experience of working to tight deadlines in a pressurised customer focused, engineering environment. • Working experience of manual measuring equipment and CMM measuring techniques • Ability to produce part programmes for machine tools. • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and geometric tolerances. • CNC Part programming course very much preferred • Must have a flexible attitude to working practices and embrace change in a constantly changing working environment. • Must have a can do attitude to problem solving • Commitment to effective team working, and personal development.
